Kalvikkaga Inaivom (Connect For Education)
கல்விக்காக இணைவோம் (Kalvikkaga Inaivom, also written Kalvikaga Inaivom or Kalvikkaaga Inaivom) is a higher education support initiative for rural students in Tamil Nadu, initiated by Anandham Youth Foundation. Connect For Education (connectforeducation.in) brings students who need support and people who want to help onto one platform.
The mission of this program is:
-
Connect
Connect People. Create Possibilities.
Bring together students who need support and individuals, organisations and institutions willing to make a difference.
-
Contribute
Support Deserving Students
Support deserving students who are unable to pursue higher education because of poverty.
-
Empower
Create Equal Opportunities
Help economically disadvantaged and rural students access the same opportunities, skills and knowledge available to students from financially well off families.
Initiated by Anandham Youth Foundation
Beyond financial support, you can also support them with skills and knowledge.
Our years of grassroots experience have shown us many rural students have the talent to succeed.
What they lack is:
- Career guidance
- Communication skills
- Life skills
- Exposure to opportunities
- Mentorship
- Industrial exposure
Give them the right guidance, exposure and support, and they can compete on an equal footing with students from cities.
